Chardonnay

Aromas: Ripe apple, bright citrus and toasted oak

Tasting Notes: Flavorful notes of pear, peach and tropical pineapple layered with richer hints of spiced apple pie, vanilla cream and toast. Each sip is silky smooth, plush and full-bodied with a long, pleasantly lingering finish.

Acclaim: 91 Points, James Suckling, v2021. Published March 2023

Viticulture & Winemaking Notes:

Viticulture Notes: Selected almost entirely from estate vineyards in Russian River Valley. Vintage 2024 was excellent, as ideally warm, sunny days and crisp, cool evenings throughout the growing season allowed fruit to ripen slowly and evenly. The quality was outstanding, with wonderful maturity, concentration and balance.

Winemaking: Harvested in early morning from a Russian River Valley, both estate vineyards and longtime grower partners. Some lots were barrel fermented on the lees, which were stirred to enhance creaminess, while the balance was fermented in stainless steel. The wine was aged for nine months in oak barrels before being blended and bottled.
